Just Do Business: Celebrating Black Excellence through the Lead Partner Program

  • Lakeview Roscoe Village Chamber of Commerce 1409 W Addison St Chicago USA (map)

Presented by the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Business Leadership Council

Promoting Black-owned companies and their contributions to our vibrant business community will be critical to Chicago’s economic recovery and future prosperity.

Once the center of black economic progress in the US, Chicago is taking action to prove that the Free Enterprise System works for everyone, including our black community. This webinar will spotlight the “Just Do Business” Movement, a chain reaction approach that starts with an organization committing to working with Black-owned Companies, who then take on a responsibility to pull other members of the black community forward with them.

Your organization can participate in the Business Leadership Council’s newest initiative, the Lead Partner Program, by evaluating your current vendor partnerships and finding areas where you can commit to working with Black-owned companies. This conversation is for the key decision-makers or those looking to start a conversation in their organization to commit to supporting the Black community through economic participation.

Attendees will receive resources and links to public and private lists of Black-owned businesses and hear directly from executives and civic leaders who are currently working with the Black Leadership Council. Join and commit today to Just Do Business.
